Community Service Volunteering

One of the key values of our organization is “to share our skills, talents, and abilities to benefit the communities in which we live and work.”  RWHRMA offers several opportunities for members to share their time and expertise, regardless of years in the profession or time available.  Most volunteers find that they gain more than they give.

Join Raleigh-Wake in our Annual Food Drive!

In partnership with NCSHRM and every SHRM chapter in NC. Our chapter has partnered with the Food Bank of Central and Eastern, NC for our annual food drive this May-June. This year we are doing a virtual food drive! In this model, every dollar donated translates to ten meals. Donating is incredibly  easy! All you have to do is click this link https://goo.gl/JEoDzp browse the "aisles" and select items to add to your shopping cart. Then click to make a donation!

We do this through June because the summer months are vital to kids that are out of school for the summer and June is the time of year with the least donations.  Your dollars help…..

To make things interesting and for some friendly competition between members, we’ve added some awards this year:

·        Company with the Most Participants

·        Most Contributed by a Board Member

·        Most Contributed by a Chapter Member

Please contact Paul Corsa with any questions.
